![]() The Pointy Heart mask comes up the most, possibly because its the default mask with the value 0. ![]() Here the distribution is not quite as balanced as the body colors. The shape and color of the mask are always the same and doesnt change depending on the body color of the Korok. (not my art, I couldnt make out the original source)Įach Korok has one of nine masks (#0-8). Interestingly, the amount of Koroks for each color is nearly perfectly distributed, with roughly 180 Koroks per color. This pattern is always the same and doesnt change with color. Koroks all have a pattern on their body with brighter and darker spots. There are 5 different body colors (#0-4) a Korok can have. About 18% are right-handed, 21% are two-handed and 10% hold nothing. With the grounded left-handed ones, they make up nearly half of all Koroks. Since flying Koroks make up roughly 37% of all Koroks and they only have one possible state when it comes to Handedness, the results are heavily leaned towards left-handed Koroks. As you might have guessed, the Korok Leaf is exclusively for flying Koroks and everyone holds one in the same hand while the berry branch is exclusively for grounded Koroks. They either hold nothing, hold a berry branch in their left, right or both hands or hold a Korok Leaf in their left hand. Koroks can be in five different states when it comes to their Handedness. I will highlight these in a later post when I talk about Korok Puzzles in detail. I was made manually, which is why there are a couple outliers. For example Pinwheel Korok Puzzles have exclusively flying hidden Koroks. Which state it is in often is linked to its puzzle. About 37% of Koroks are flying and roughly 63% are grounded. Korok can either be grounded or fly with the help of a Korok Leaf. You can look up the Korok you want according to their values in my spreadsheet and then search them via their ID number on the object map.Įach Korok has four attributes that govern its appearance:Īny hidden Korok you can find is summerized with just these values. This makes it easy to find any specific Korok you want. I myself created a spreadsheet of the values of each Korok that determine its appearance. The Zeldamods object map recently integrated these numbers and gave each Korok an ID number. Each Korok has some predetermined values in the game code that governs which appearance the Korok will have when you find it. General Informationĭespite their number, the look of a Korok in their locations is always the same and not random. What kind there are, how the look, how many combinations you can find and some more. This post will talk about the appearance of hidden Koroks. Their high number might also make it difficult to get data about them but since I recently finished my Korok Selfie Challenge where I traveled to and took a picture with each hidden Korok, I collected data for each and every one. Mostly people care about the seeds they give. Koroks!ĭespite them being so well known, there is surprisingly little information online about them. You can find them under rocks and in other places all around the map. There's subreddits for that and this isn't one. Applies to some comments but not always enforced on them.
